Advanced Clinical Dietetics is a Sydney-based private practice specialising in eating disorder treatment and complex clinical nutrition care. Our practice supports children, adolescents and adults across Sydney, with telehealth services available throughout Australia. Care is delivered by an Accredited Practising Dietitian, Accredited Nutritionist and Credentialed Eating Disorder Clinician. We work closely with referring GPs under GP Management Plans and Eating Disorder Treatment Plans, ensuring coordinated and structured care.

We work with infants, children, adolescents and adults experiencing eating disorders, disordered eating, and complex nutrition-related medical or mental health concerns. We also collaborate with GPs, psychologists, psychiatrists, and other allied health professionals to ensure coordinated care.

In-person consultations are available in Sydney at our Kogarah Clinic or Hurstville clinic. Telehealth appointments are available nationwide.

Yes. Telehealth appointments are available across Australia, allowing patients to access specialist eating disorder dietitian care from home. In-person appointments are also available in Sydney at our Kogarah and Hurstville locations.

No referral is required to book an appointment. However, a GP referral is needed if you wish to access Medicare rebates under a Chronic Disease Management Plan or Eating Disorder Plan.

Patients may be eligible for Medicare rebates through GP Management Plans or Eating Disorder Treatment Plans. Rebates depend on individual circumstances and the plan provided by a referring GP.
With an EDP, clients are eligible to access 20 subsidised dietetic sessions for 12 months from the start date of the plan, and a GPCCMP allows a patient to access up to 5 subsidised dietetic sessions in a calendar year.

Yes. Most private health funds offer rebates for dietetic services. Rebates vary between funds, so it is best to check directly with your insurer.

Fees vary depending on appointment type. Initial assessments and eating disorder reviews are $250. Standard reviews for other presentations are $150–$250, depending on length and complexity. Medicare and private health rebates may apply where eligible. Please feel free to contact the practice for further information.

Advanced Clinical Dietetics - Cancellation Policy: Missed appointments and late cancellations disadvantage the clinician and other patients. If less than 48 hours’ notice is given for a missed appointment, patients may be charged up to the full cost of the consultation. Failure to attend will incur the full consultation cost. We reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee, equivalent to the fee of the original scheduled consultation, for repeat offences. NDIS clients who cancel within 7 days, or a minimum of 2 business days, may be charged 100% of the consultation cost as per NDIS guidelines.

As a courtesy, appointment reminders are sent (via email), however, it is encouraged that all patients keep a record of their scheduled appointments as cancellation fees still apply even if you do not receive a reminder.

Yes. Eating disorder treatment, including nutritional rehabilitation and structured support, is available via telehealth across Australia. Telehealth allows access to specialised dietetic care regardless of location while maintaining clinical rigour and continuity of care.

Eating disorder initial and review consultations are structured 60-minute appointments.
Approximately 40 to 50 minutes are dedicated to direct patient care, with additional time allocated to clinical documentation, treatment planning, and care coordination where required. Longer appointment times are designed to support the complexity of eating disorder treatment, ensuring care is thorough, safe, and clinically rigorous.

Advanced Clinical Dietetics provides specialist evidence-based treatment for adolescents and adults experiencing anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, ARFID, OSFED, and other disordered eating patterns. Consultations are available in-person in Sydney and via telehealth across Australia.

Frequency of appointments depends on clinical needs. Initial assessments are followed by regular reviews, typically weekly or fortnightly, to support nutritional rehabilitation, monitor progress, and coordinate care with other healthcare providers.

The first consultation includes a comprehensive nutrition assessment, discussion of medical history, eating patterns, and treatment goals. You will receive personalised recommendations, a structured plan, and guidance on next steps, with collaborative input from other healthcare providers if relevant.
